Surface Structured Leather -Decorative leather with improved abrasion resistance

Real leather impregnated with a thin layer of polyurethane and embossed to create decorative surface finishes. The polyurethane binds to the leather fibres, creating a strong mechanical and chemical bond that multiplies the leather's abrasion resistance.

It is used for footwear, furniture, sporting goods, mobile phone covers, and automotive interiors.

Details:
The leather is available with many different patterns, including various types of carbon-fibre look. It is available in thicknesses between 1 mm and 3.5 mm and can be ordered in any colour. The polyurethane layer is less than 0.15 mm thick, improving the water-resistant qualities of the leather while maintaining breathability.
