Solid Textile Board - High strength board with a warm feel

This high-density textile board combines the feel of paper with high strength and stiffness. The board consists of 70 percent recycled wool and cotton fibres and 30 percent virgin polymer binder fibres. The fibres are pressed under heat to form a solid board that can be processed with conventional woodworking tools and joined with wood glue or with screws and bolts. It is possible to cut grooves to add flexibility or soft hinges.

Used for:
It is used as a structural substitute for wood and composites in indoor design products, furniture, and architectural elements.

Details:
The cotton is obtained from waste materials such as discarded textiles from industrial laundries and cut-offs from the textile industry. The standard colour is white, but different colours can be added as an outer layer. The textile board can be treated with a surface finish to protect against moisture and dirt. The standard dimensions of the board are 3000 mm x 1100 mm x 7.8 mm.
